Therapist

Hello, I am Laura Hildebrand LMHC, LCACA

I am currently a part-time therapist with Roadways to Recovery, where I will be seeing clients on Fridays and Sundays and facilitating a Women’s Recovery Group and a Relapse Prevention Group. I also work as the IOP Clinical Supervisor/Manager at Hickory Recovery Network in Decatur County, where I have spent the last two years building a successful adult addiction outpatient program.

I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan in 2017 and 2018 with my Master’s in Addictions Counseling and Post-Master’s in Clinical Mental Health. I have been working in the addiction field since 2015 and have facilitated several groups, including Intensive Outpatient, Relapse Prevention Group, Helping Women Recover, Anger Management, and DBT-12 Steps. I have served on the Drug Court in Jefferson County and currently serve on The Wellness Court in Decatur County. I have been on the Ethics Board for IAAP (Indiana Association of Addictions Professionals) since 2016 and have been a board member for IAAP since 2017.

I am passionate about helping those struggling with addiction recover and build a recovery-centered life. I use an understanding, compassionate, and supportive approach combined with evidence-based practice skills of CBT, DBT, and EMDR to assist clients in rebuilding a life that is supportive of their goal of long-term recovery by addressing mental health as well as their addiction. I live in Southeastern Indiana with my husband, two children, and pets. d peer support program, fostering a sense of community and offering guidance during the recovery journey. Additionally, she holds a certification as a community health worker, emphasizing her commitment to overall well-being.
